DOPE/Dialog

DOPE/Dialog is developed by our partners Icon Systemhaus in Stuttgart and sold and supported by S4 Software Solutions in the UK and Ireland. DOPE stands for DOcumentProcessingEnhanced.

DOPE/Dialog delivers a Java based "ComponentWare" toolkit and offers a device independent capability for your staff to create ad hoc correspondence, letters, schedules, booklets and any out form of document from their workstation. All the "resources" such as variables, fonts, images and pre built paragraphs are controlled centrally. Depending on the authority granted to the user they may be able to add free form paragraphs and comments with a spell checker ensuring no mistakes are made, and a full audit workflow in place if their works needs to be checked before release.

The interface is very Wordprocessor looking with just the functions available for the access/authority level of that user. The interface is very intuitive so minimal training is required. Variables are added from links back into your company systems and are defined by administrators or authors on the system.

The documents are created/composed with either the DOPE/Dialog composer, DOPE/Compose if this is installed or one of many Document Composition tools you may already have installed such as DOC1, CSF, Pres, Extreme or Papyrus.

Documents can be sent to local printers, centralised printers, individually or batched, or sent via other mediums such as email, fax and archive.
